Friends of Roxburghe House approached NHS Grampian Charity with proposals to improve the environment at Roxburghe House. Macmillan were also keen to help and the three charities formed a partnership to build a Day Room extension and redesign and refurbish Roxburghe. This included replacing soft furnishings, renovating the bathrooms and creating spaces for staff to work more efficiently. The Education Suite was adapted so that larger groups of staff can take part in training events.
