PINE Study – Parkinson’s Disease

Project 842

The Parkinson’s Incidence in North East Scotland  (PINE) study has been monitoring patients diagnosed between November 2002 – April 2004, and October 2006 – March 2009.  The study is one of four being conducted worldwide and has attracted funding from a number of sources, most recently from the Endowment Fund.  The research showcases the contribution to Parkinson’s research of the medical staff at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary and the University of Aberdeen.
